Inspiration

We were inspired by the lack of social/emotional aspect of education and in-person learning due to COVID. EduMeet is designed to close that gap and allow kids to experience the social aspects of learning with people!

What it does

EduMeet is an app that gives the user study resources, finds others who would like to meet up and study, finds tutors, and finds restaurants where people can work at.

How we built it

We built this app using code.org and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into were being able to properly display everyone's availability and displaying the correct study resources recommendation in our status output.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our easy-to-use interface; it is very user-friendly! The creators of EduMeet are also proud of the overall range of functionalities which other apps do not provide. We bring a lot more to the table because we keep everything in one app: people's availability, study resources, tutors and places to meet.
