Inspiration

Education should be personalized not standardized. Yet, most learners still face the same fixed schedules and generic learning paths. We wanted to build something different a system that adapts to you. That’s where EduMate was born: an AI-powered companion that understands your learning goals, builds your study plan, and evolves with your progress.

What it does

EduMate acts as your personal AI academic guide. It recommends subjects, creates personalized study timetables, assigns quizzes and assignments, and tracks performance just like a digital university system powered by intelligence. If a student misses a study day, EduMate adjusts the plan automatically to keep them on track.

How we built it

EduMate was built using React for an interactive and responsive frontend and Firebase for real-time data management, analytics, and seamless AI integration. Each AI module from quiz generation to lesson planning was integrated through APIs and fine tuned to ensure smooth collaboration between all agents. The result is a scalable, user-friendly platform ready for future expansion.

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We turned an abstract idea into a working prototype within a tight timeframe. From concept to implementation, our teamwork and persistence made EduMate possible. We’re proud of how each member contributed from logic building to UI polishing and overall presentation.

What we learned

This project taught us how to merge AI and frontend development effectively. We learned practical integration of Firebase with React, improved our debugging, collaboration, and time management skills, and experienced how innovation turns into impact when guided by passion.

What's next for EduMate

EduMate will follow a freemium model to ensure both accessibility and sustainability:

Plan Features Free Tier : Personalized subject recommendations, weekly study plans, performance tracking, and quiz evaluation Premium Tier : AI-generated timetables, adaptive study plans, personalized assignments, and content generation based on uploaded textbooks or materials.
