Inspiration:

We wanted to make teachers' lives easier and help students learn better. We saw a need for a tool that streamlines classroom management and uses AI to give teachers personalized insights about their students.

What it does:

EduManager handles the boring stuff like attendance and grades, so teachers can focus on teaching. It also uses AI to analyze student data, giving teachers tips on how to help each student succeed. Plus, there's a chat feature where teachers can get specific advice from the AI.

How we built it:

Fueled by caffeine and determination, we cobbled together web tech, AI magic, and cloud power to create a working prototype. We focused on making it easy for teachers to use, even if they're not tech-savvy.

Challenges we ran into:

Sleep deprivation aside, figuring out how to balance automation with the human touch in teaching was tricky. Also, making sure student data stays safe and the AI actually gives useful advice was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We're stoked to have a working prototype that actually does something cool! Teachers who've tried it seem to like it, and we're proud of the teamwork that got us this far.

What we learned:

Teachers really want tools that are easy to use. AI is awesome, but it needs to be applied thoughtfully in education. And building something from scratch in 24 hours is both exhausting and exhilarating.

What's next for EduManager:

If we survive this hackathon, we'd love to make the AI even smarter, add more features, and get it into the hands of more teachers
