Inspiration

“Our personal struggles with academic development and resume customization served as the impetus for this project. It was difficult for us as a student to have to update our resume all the time to fit various internship and job criteria. Important college projects and accomplishments were frequently overlooked because our applications lacked the necessary structure. Furthermore, we had trouble identifying gaps in our exam sheets during our freshmen year of college, which made it challenging to recognize our shortcomings and make effective improvements.
In order to assist students and job seekers in overcoming these typical obstacles, we initiated this idea by fusing AI-driven resume tailoring with skill tracking. ”

What it does

EduLuminAI is an AI-powered academic companion. It autonomously analyzes academic performance, detects skill gaps, suggests personalized learning paths, optimizes resumes for ATS standards, provides feedback on exam answers, and recommends suitable jobs and internships — all through smart Agentforce agents. Students receive dynamic, personalized guidance without the need for manual intervention.

How we built it

We used Salesforce’s Agentforce Developer Platform to build multiple autonomous agents. Each agent focuses on a specific task like skill gap analysis, resume optimization, exam answer evaluation, or job matching. We integrated data extraction, AI-based decision-making, and report generation into these agents. Frontend prototypes were developed using modern web technologies to demonstrate real-time interaction and dynamic updates.

Challenges we ran into

1. Learning and adapting to the Agentforce Developer environment.
2. Designing custom autonomous actions that worked intelligently without human oversight.
3. Integrating OCR and skill mapping into a seamless agent workflow.
4. Balancing the scope of features within the limited hackathon timeframe.
