Joining the community
The reason behind using a passport to join is that the community is based on votes. I don’t want users to abuse their right to vote by creating multiple accounts, so one passport can only create one account. Also, paying 50 dollars for joining is because we want to guarantee active participation as well as profit making.
Participation
Voting and token exchange is the main concept of the DAO community. Voting is a way for users to contribute to and participate in the community. It is also the key for decentralization because all the change and earning is decided by all of the members in the community. Users are also rewarded by the quality of their answers, which leads to overall forum quality improvement. The 1 token bonus of vote is designed to reward the user for their participation. The reason for paying tokens to post questions is to encourage active response and token exchange.
Earning
The idea of percentage increase is to calculate the contribution of each user. I want to tie real dollar earnings with the user's contribution to encourage participation and let users have a sense that the money they pay in can be earned back. The idea of money pond makes users invite more new users into the community.
Leaders
These rules are essential for the DAO community since these are the key to sustainability. The leaders are selected from the users based on their contribution. This gives every user an equal chance to lead the community. There is no form of centralized group to control the community. Leaders have the right to make changes to guarantee the continuous development of the community, but the changes have to be passed by the majority of the users.
