Inspiration

We wanted to solve the communication gap between parents and educational institutions by creating a smarter and more transparent student monitoring system.Since around 70% of parents only learn about attendance or grade issues after it's too late to intervene

What it does

EduBridge AI helps parents track attendance, academic performance, exams, events, class schedules, and notifications in real time using AI-powered insights and alerts.

How we built it

We built the platform using Python, Flask/Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrated Gemini API for AI-based analysis and smart notifications, with MySQL/Firebase as the database.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating AI with real-time student data, managing notifications efficiently, and designing a simple yet effective user interface were our biggest challenges

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully developed a centralized platform that combines AI analysis, real-time tracking, and parent-institution communication in one system.

What we learned

We learned about AI integration using Gemini API, database management, backend development, teamwork, and creating user-focused solutions.

What's next for EduGuard

We plan to develop a mobile app, add predictive academic recommendations, career guidance features, and advanced AI-based student wellness tracking.
