Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project came from our own experiences, we tried to implement those various solutions which we thought would have helped us to enhance our user experience and provide better opportunities for us.
What it does
The LMS portal works such that the user logs into the system in order to access the content, the dashboard provides the list of various facilities that are given and the dashboard also provides the real-time progress of the user. the main website is interactive and provides the user details of the various selected courses.
How we built it
We built the following website using the basics of web development to create the structure of the website. The use of APIs was called to use for the e-library system, the API provides the information related to the various books related to a particular keyword/topic that can be searched for.
Challenges we ran into
Some of the challenges that we ran into were understanding how to efficiently integrate the front and backend and highlighting our USP. The system is required to be compatible and hence we used Github to identify our weak points and to strengthen our webpage.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have successfully implemented the pages required and used the various tools available to showcase our project to the best of our abilities.
What we learned
We learnt about the various technologies that are available to simplify code writing and enhance the user experience, we mainly learnt how to work in a collaborative environment and how to support our team members and respect each other's ideas
What's next for Eduford
We plan on working to create a common discussion platform for the students to discuss their problems and for those students who have a command of a certain topic can teach that topic, we also plan on implementing a speech-to-text analysis to provide inclusivity in the portal. Lastly a personalised path will be given to the students to allow them to choose their topics and courses specific to their goals.
