Inspiration
In this era of Covid19, the usage of mobile devices and the internet is inevitable in many fields. Apart from their productive uses, the internet and mobile devices have had a larger negative influence in many other domains. One such domain is education, where it transformed into a new system termed the Online Education System, wherein the internet and the mobile devices are considered the back-bone. Due to this system, the students are exhausted and moreover distracted by various social media and OTT platforms as well as video games among others. In addition to this, recent studies have proved that more than half of the world now uses social media and 99 percent of total social media users access via mobile at some point. And teenagers are one of the major consumers. The students are the future and any downside to the new system may impact the future, therefore a resolution must be reached. For this, we give you EduFocus - to stay focused and productive.
What it does
Our app aids students to stay focused and thereby increase productivity on a daily basis. The students can schedule their day with specific tasks and our artificial intelligence assists students by properly organizing existing files related to the task and the web scraping useful reference links from the internet. Our Edufocus mode rises beyond the existing focus mode due to this feature. Apart from this, students can surf through websites while our Edufocus mode will ensure that the students are not distracted.
How we built it
The theme brought our attention to ourselves. As students, what are the problems we face? This question led to the topic of distractions due to mobile devices and the internet. After which we organized a Google Meet to discuss and comment about this topic, which ended with this solution. We used the free prototyping tool Figma to design our prototype and Flutter to build our app.
Challenges we ran into
Due to the model of this online education system, the mental health of students’ are compromised to a large extent. To improve the mental health of the students, our app helps them to stay focused on their tasks by outperforming the existing one.

What we learned
We understood the huge negative impact , the sanitary pad creating on the environment. Additionally, we learned basics of Flutter ,Dart, Figma.
