Inspiration The inspiration for Eduficate came from a deep concern about how many real educational challenges — especially in underserved communities — go unheard, undocumented, and unresolved. As someone from Gombe State, Nigeria, I've witnessed firsthand how students sit on bare floors to learn, how schools lack science equipment, and how teachers work with outdated curricula. These issues are often invisible to the outside world, buried under bureaucracy or ignored entirely. I wanted to create a platform where every challenge counts — and can be seen by those with the power to make a difference.

What I Learned Building Eduficate taught me the power of blockchain transparency in social impact projects. I deepened my understanding of how decentralized systems can offer verifiability, immutability, and trust in data collection — especially when dealing with sensitive or grassroots information. I also learned more about user experience design for non-technical users, ensuring the platform remains accessible to everyone.

How I Built It Eduficate was built using:

Bolt.new prompt and superbase for, hosted on netlify

Challenges Anonymity & Security: Designing a submission flow that protects identity while ensuring data integrity

Simplifying Blockchain: Making blockchain-based technology accessible to users with no technical background

Scalability: Building a system that can handle large-scale entries and organize them by categories or regions

Trust & Outreach: Getting users to trust the platform and contribute authentically was a major concern. We're now focusing on building partnerships to spread awareness and usage.
