🌟 Inspiration

During our field visits, we noticed that small-scale tuition teachers still rely on handwritten diaries to track student details, fees, and schedules. This manual system led to errors, missed payments, and poor communication with students. We were inspired to create EduEase, a simple yet powerful digital solution to ease their workload.

📱 What it does

EduEase is a mobile application that:

  • Helps teachers manage student enrollment, fee tracking, class schedules, and announcements.
  • Allows students to join classes via unique codes, access study materials, and check fee status.
  • Provides AI-powered features like a Sanskrit chatbot for student queries and fee analytics for teachers.

🛠️ How we built it

  • Frontend: Flutter for cross-platform mobile development.
  • Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Authentication, Storage).
  • Payments: Razorpay API for secure fee collection.
  • AI: Gemini-based chatbot and analytics for fee insights.
  • UI Design: Figma + Material Design for clean and intuitive dashboards.

⚡ Challenges we ran into

  • Understanding real teacher workflows during field visits.
  • Learning Supabase integration with Flutter from scratch.
  • Implementing secure payment gateways.
  • Building an AI chatbot tailored to specific academic needs.
