Inspiration

Due to my interest in crypto, people often ask me about how cryptocurrencies work, what a bitcoin is and how I can be used as a currency. I sometimes struggle to explain even the easy parts. Therefore Educoin want's to do missionary work. The goal is to explain to everybody, no matter if they are old or young, the the basics and even more about cryptocurrencies. What it does

Educoin's goal is to educate people with various knowledge about Crypto and reward them for the effort to learn. Learning is work. More precisely a proof of work. Therefore Educoin wants to reward people, who successfully take part in a learning program.

How I built it

Educoin is a mixture of Coinbase (https://www.coinbase.com/earn), where you can "mine" coins through "learning videos" (more advertisement videos) and the btc-academy (https://www.btc-echo.de/academy/bibliothek/), where you can find simple explanations about different crypto-related topics.

Challenges I ran into

So far I just have a blueprint and no idea how to build the website or app. This is defiantly a point where I need experienced partners.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I beliefe the concept of Educoin can enlarge the crypto community because it make crypto suitable for the masses. The idea of incentivizing people to learn about a growing topic and rewarding them in crypto is very promising.

Evaluate theater the assumption taken are realistic. Starting to install a team of highly skilled developers.
