EduCloudPH

EduCloudPH is an e-learning management system leveraging cloud computing software OpenStack, utilizing WordPress enhanced with various plugins e.g. BuddyPress, Docebo, etc. This system aims to address the need of educational institutions particularly the public schools, who lack the resources to create their own infrastructure, in order to provide a robust e-learning management system that can scale accordingly to meet the needs of its users. Aside from that, through this system the school can tap experts and information resources locally or globally and at the same time extends its depth and reach as it becomes readily available on the Internet. Finally, BuddyPress plugin will be used for establishing a private social network for the academic community, which would further enhance the system's capability and usability, minimizing the threat to privacy and confidentiality which is inherent in social networks.
