Inspiration

Managing a school efficiently is still a challenge for many educational institutions. Attendance, student records, assignments, teacher management, and communication are often handled manually or through multiple disconnected systems.

We wanted to build a single platform that simplifies school administration while making information easily accessible to administrators, teachers, students, and parents. Our goal was to create a modern, cloud-based solution using the Zero Stack with Vercel and AWS.

What it does

EduClass AI is a full-stack School Management System that centralizes academic and administrative tasks into one platform.

The application allows administrators to manage students, teachers, classes, and subjects from a single dashboard.

Teachers can:

  • Mark attendance
  • Manage classes
  • Upload assignments
  • View student information

Students can:

  • View assignments
  • Access their academic information
  • Stay updated with school activities

The system is responsive, secure, and accessible from anywhere through the cloud.

How we built it

We built EduClass AI using modern web technologies.

  • Next.js for the frontend and backend
  • React for interactive UI
  • TypeScript for type safety
  • Tailwind CSS for responsive design
  • AWS RDS (MySQL) for cloud database
  • Clerk Authentication for secure login
  • Vercel for deployment and hosting
