Educators Unite

Inspiration

I think we've all seen a concentrated effort to help build community among students the past 18 months, but I think there hasn't been an equivalent push to do the same for educators. Our goal is to provide a platform for educators to get in contact with each other, collaborate professionally, and connect socially.

What it does

Our platform allows educators to put themselves into groups based on the subjects and classes that they are teaching. Within these, they can contact the other teachers as needed. As needed, educators can also make their own groups, allowing the app to scale as needed.

What's next for Educators Unite

We see a lot of potential for ways to expand Educators Unite:

• Add a "chat" feature within groups
• Add filesharing within groups. This will allow educators to upload their class materials to share with others teaching the same subject.
• Add a recommendation engine that recommends users to join new, similar groups.
