Inspiration

School has always been stressful for many students worldwide. Tests, quizzes, and homework all let us to a point where we didn't know what to do anymore. We saw that people were feeling down and upset as COVID-19 came into our lives in 2019. People were confused and lost so we wanted to help those people by creating this app, EducationNation.

What it does

EducationNation allows students to communicate with one another and help teachers with tech and assignment ideas. We allow students to express their thoughts and for them to be engaged in activities with their classmates. Teachers and/or professionals at a subject can give more guidance on the topic they are learning including practice tests to see how much they have learned and what they need more help on. We allow students to be creative in game mode as they are motivated to learn and go against other teams to strive first place. They can accessorize their characters and earn new powers! We wanted a new way of learning, a more fun way, and here it is!

How I built it

We designed this app with Figma.

Challenges I ran into

One of our biggest challenges was designing our app. We were having trouble with how the design should go.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud that we joined this because it's our first hackathon, and we are pleased we finished everything!

We hope for this app to help teachers and students across the globe once it's an official app.
