Since the classrooms are designed similar to a physical classroom, students will feel comfortable in their new virtual environment. Imagine having students from around the world in one classroom. This may not be possible in reality, but it definitely can be possible in virtual reality. Being part of these global classrooms, students are exposed to diverse cultures while also getting a world class education.

Inspiration

We remember not being able to understand concepts taught in our classes and not having access to those lessons when we get home. Through our project we would like to make sure everyone is able to have fun and be part of interactive sessions in a virtual classroom where they are able to learn any and all topics in their grade level.

What it does

{VR School/ project name} is an non-profit, educational application which can be used by students for a world-class education. Students are able to receive lessons in a virtual classroom with virtual teachers and students from around the globe. Students will first register themselves and receive a student ID. If the student is already registered, they will login to their account. Once they open their {home page or ?}, they’ll have the option of joining different classes offered for their grade. Since this is a multi-player application, students from anywhere in the world are able to join these classrooms. The virtual teacher will go through class with a predetermined lesson plan for the day. Throughout the class students are allowed to raise their hands, ask questions, show a whiteboard where they show work, and take part in the interactive activities related to that class. Once they are done with the class, students may leave the classroom and see the {homepage or ?} again.
