Inspiration

As college has went remote, every connection has become strained. In order to make things easier for students, we have established a website for students. There, peers can find resources that will help their growth as a student. Since there are so many documents created by teachers, we wish to make one site to host them all.

What it does

The website will allow for students to post their discoveries as well as any news regarding their campuses. This website is student friendly and aims at improving the availability of student resources by combining them all into one place.

How we built it

We used html and css to develop the website, along with affinity Designer

Challenges we ran into

It was hard to keep track of all the different pages. Additionally, coding an entire functional website in just a weekend proved challenging, so work had to be hurried.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The website came out beautifully and the amount of terms and new coding experience we received was wonderful.

What we learned

We learned how to build a website and use graphic design to enhance our website's features.

What's next for Education Resources for College Students

We aim to learn backend code as well as finish up the website in order to deploy it. We hope this website will reach all sorts of students and enable them to have a successful college experience.

PROJECT MODEL STATEMENT

College102 solves the problem of "What will my degree do for me"? After the pandemic, we at College102 noticed that a lot of educational goals were disrupted from covid-19. We want to change that. Our website allows you to type in your school and enter a personalized forum with the best tips, tricks, and student opinions on your major. In addition, College102 allows you to "pick" a roadmap and have a step-by-step plan for whatever major you are taking. Whether you are looking for a community, need guidance on your future, find the latest news in your field/school or are looking for challenging courses, College102 provides it all for students who want an A in life. -Adam, Mojeed, and Peter
