Inspiration
My friends who are doctors explained how difficult it is to study about the human anatomy. They used to do experiments on limited resources and old equipment and old cadavers to study human anatomy. Because of scarcity a group of students have to rely on limited resources. After knowing the potential of AR, It inspired me to develop these solutions using AR for Medical studies and enthusiasts.
What it does
Shows highly detailed 3D models of Human Anatomy with accurate scientific terminalogy. Every one can easilyly learn about humans Anatomy.
How we built it
We built it using Snap AR Lens studio, Blender and open source scientific accuracy 3d models provided by z-anatomy.com.
Challenges we ran into
3D meshes areof high quality and have scientific accuracy and medical terminology of organs and its parts. To make the meshes compatible and render smoothly in the Snapchat we optimized everything using blender.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As a programmer with no experience in 3d modelling and graphics designing I pushed my self and learnt many new things. Thanks to Snap Chat and Lens studio resources and team.
What we learned
AR has a great potential in education. AR improves efficiency of learners.
What's next for Education
In future I plan to publish entire human anatomy atlas models in Snap AR platform for education. Credits to z-anatomy.com
