Inspiration
This project is inspired from the inability of the studnets in rural areas who are unable to access the facilities and textbooks as the basic medium of language is in English.
What it does
This project lets the translation possible into few prominent languages so that children can read their textbooks and learn the same concepts which the other students learn in cities. The novelty in this project is that this project allows the users to upload the pdf whereas the current projects allow only text as the input.
How we built it
We built it with Java GUI for the front end. We used googletrans package in python to translate from English to other languages.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge was to convert the text in pdf to the regional languages in the world in India.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we have accomplised a major challenge in todays world regarding the translation of books to other languages for easy learning.
