Inspiration: Providing supervision and support for the development of Internet modules for physical activity as digital innovation for health promotion and risk reduction with an emphasis on improving mental health during and after the pandemic, in "new normal" by changing behavioral habits and social distancing.

What challenges does your project address?

  • To create and evaluate the possibility of implementing an electronic tool for health (e-health) that will be a support in counseling for physical activity and sports in the primary healthcare by introducing virtual patients into open internet educational modules with the formation of an internet platform.
  • To support the free participation of citizens in their free time how to apply physical activity and sports in public places? Challenges in front of cities are ensuring the safety and health of citizens by introducing new regulations for physical distance and providing places where people can be physically active. Target groups are children, adolescents, adolescents, and the elderly (over 65 years), in addition to primary healthcare staff, and specialists of sports medicine who will be involved in promoting educational activities at high-risk individuals, and at the population level.

How I build it? The first question is how to use public spaces for physical activity and sport after a pandemic?

  1. To make a strategy with post-COVID 19 data;
  2. To collect data on high-quality public spaces for physical activity (parks, sports fields, educational institutions, kindergartens, and others);
  3. To involve the City Councils as part of community development by creating multi-sector groups.

The second question is how to make the inclusion of physical activity into primary health care?

  1. To introduce virtual patients (e-health), and to develop web-based planning interventions in primary health care;
  2. To analyze the technical challenges and solutions for offering health-related virtual patients and describe the models of virtual use by patients at high-risk individuals as well as at the population level.

Expected results:

  1. Design of reopened spaces with social distance;
  2. Recommendations for physical activity and sport in public areas for a short time (short guidelines), as well as long term;
  3. Electronic Health Tool to promote physical activity and sport (e-health);
  4. Study on the efficacy of e-health applicability;
  5. Population-level examinations for the prevalence of physical activity and sport in post-COVID 19.

Activities: -The most important thing is to collect data on high-quality public spaces for physical activity (parks, sports fields, educational institutions, kindergartens, and others); -Model how to implement the European Sports Week "BeActive" in the European region in 2020 as one of the biggest events? -To involve City Councils as part of community development by creating multi-sector groups,

Challenges I ran into is the consequences of a tennis ADRIA Tours in June 2020 in Belgrade and Zadar. Accomplishments that I'm proud of the collaboration with the WHO HEPA European network and the project team of the European funded project: "Union Physical Activity and Sports Monitoring System" as a partner (www.eupasmos.com).

I learned professional approach and strategy development as a specialist in Sports Medicine and Public Health with a subspecialty: "Hygiene of Nutrition for Healthy and Sick People", with PhD., University Professor for Nutrition.
