Digitalisation in the german public education system has been, upon recently, rolling out at a slow pace. Teacher, Students and institutions are lacking the skill and know-how to sufficiently advance the digitalisation of the classroom. So far, there is no single place where those players can receive an overview of tools and information they need to implement a digitalisation strategy in their individual schools successfully.
We had the idea and started it, during TheGlobalHack two weeks ago. We built a completely working MVP of our product where users can successfully manoeuvre around our ecosystem. We have consolidated and enriched our backend database with over 100 German Edtech startups and are continuously growing this database, to get an overview of all existing EdTech solutions in Germany.
Evolving from the alpha phase of Educately, we want to continue further to give users guidance based on their use case. Moreover, we want further to increase responsiveness and overall feel of the page. Afterwards, we should launch in the other German-speaking countries. The two of us are committed to grow Educately further and help as many students and teachers during this challenging and unprecedented time.
