Inspiration
Many students struggle to understand concepts because of language barriers and lack of personalized guidance. Especially in rural and regional areas, students are more comfortable learning in their native language. This inspired us to build a solution that makes learning simple, accessible, and inclusive.
What it does
EduBridge is an AI-powered learning assistant that helps students understand concepts in both English and Tamil. Users can ask questions, upload problems, and receive simple, step-by-step explanations. It also provides personalized study support and quick doubt resolution.
How we built it
We built the frontend using a simple and user-friendly interface for students. The backend integrates AI-based APIs to process user queries and generate explanations. We used translation support to convert complex concepts into Tamil for better understanding.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was simplifying technical concepts into easy explanations. Ensuring accurate translation while maintaining meaning was also difficult. We also faced time constraints during development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a working prototype that can explain concepts in simple language and support bilingual learning. The platform is easy to use and solves a real problem faced by many students.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate AI into real-world applications, improve user experience, and work efficiently as a team under time constraints.
What's next for EduBridge
We plan to add voice support, more regional languages, and advanced personalization features to make learning even more accessible and effective.
