Inspiration

Unlike traditional LMS platforms like Canvas, which restrict course enrollment to college-approved selections, EduBridge allows students to enroll in courses offered by professors across the entire campus. This flexibility ensures broader access to diverse, industry-relevant skills, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world job requirements. We wanted to remove institutional barriers and create a centralized learning ecosystem where students can freely access high-quality courses, learn at their own pace, and gain skills that matter in today’s job market.

What it does

EduBridge is an AI-powered learning platform that enhances student learning and faculty engagement through:

Cross-Department Course Enrollment – Students can enroll in any course across campus, expanding their learning opportunities. AI-Powered Personalized Learning – AI analyzes student progress and recommends courses, study materials, and learning paths tailored to individual needs. Professor-Centric Course Management – Professors can create and manage courses, upload materials, assign tasks, and track student performance. Assignment Generation with AI – AI assists in creating quizzes and assignments directly from uploaded course content. Progress Tracking & Insights – Students get real-time feedback on their learning efficiency, time spent studying, and achievements. AI Assistant for Course Support – Students can ask AI questions related to their course materials and receive instant, intelligent responses.

How we built it

We developed EduBridge using a modern tech stack to ensure performance, scalability, and a smooth user experience: Frontend: React.js and React-DOM for building a fast and dynamic UI. Styling: Tailwind CSS for a sleek and responsive design. AI Integration: OpenAI API to generate quizzes and assignments based on course materials. Database & Authentication: Supabase for user authentication and data storage.
