Inspiration: The inspiration for EduBridge came from seeing how different learners face barriers in education. Some students struggle with language, others with disabilities like hearing or visual impairments, and many face limited access to quality resources. I wanted to create a tool that adapts learning to each individual, making education truly inclusive and accessible for everyone.

What it does: EduBridge transforms traditional learning material into accessible, personalized formats for every learner. Key functions include adaptive learning, multimodal content, language accessibility, inclusive design (for example dyslexia-friendly fonts) and oddline-first access.

How I built it: EduBridge was built as a web application with content input, content adaptation & accessibility layer.

Challenges I ran into: A major challenge I ran into was offline support. I had to ensure that the tool could work in low-connectivity environments involved catching and progressive web app strategies. Also, implementing accessibility features was another challenge. I had to generate sign language avatars and dyslexia-friendly formats that required research and testing.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: Successfully created a prototype that demonstrates content adaptation into multiple formats.

What I learned: Building EduBridge taught me a lot about adaptive learning technologies and accessibility standards. I learned more about accessibility features like text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and sign language avatars. I also explored user interface design principles to make apps intuitive for students with diverse needs. I also gained hand-on experience with web development, file parsing, and dynamic content generation.

What's next for EduBridge: Full AI Integration is something that I would like to add to the platform. I would like to enhance content summarization and adaptation using advanced AI models. My ultimate goal is to create a global platform where every learner, regardless of ability or background, can access knowledge in the way that works best for them.
