Motivation
My brother suggested this idea because many students can’t afford preparation for standardized exams with tutors.
What It Does
A site where students can study predefined topics, exchange study materials, ask questions of artificial intelligence when they don’t understand something well, and post questions in a community.
How We Built It
- I came up with the idea and started working on the markup.
- I created:
- the login page
- the sign-up page
- the community page
- the standardized test pages
Challenges We Ran Into
- It was my first time working with JavaScript and the OpenAI API, which made things challenging at the start.
Accomplishments
- I’m proud of this as my first project, even though I haven’t uploaded it yet.
What We Learned
- Personally, I learned how to:
- write code in JavaScript
- use the OpenAI API
- work with JSON to send and receive data from the API
- apply CSS techniques like Flexbox
What’s Next for EduBot
- Launch it as an official website
- Upload more study materials
- Build a calendar feature where students can track their activity—similar to GitHub’s contribution graph -Create pages for other subjects not only standartized exams -Expand defined materials
