Inspiration

We were inspired by how students often struggle with long study materials, especially in STEM subjects, where concepts can be complex and overwhelming. Many learners spend hours trying to understand notes without proper guidance or interactive support. We wanted to build a tool that makes learning faster, simpler, and more engaging using AI.

What it does

EduBoost AI is an AI-powered learning assistant that helps students study more effectively.

It allows users to:

  • Upload or input long notes and get simplified summaries
  • Get clear explanations of difficult STEM concepts
  • Generate quizzes for revision and self-assessment
  • Make studying more interactive and structured

How we built it

We built EduBoost AI as a web-based application integrated with AI features.

Key parts include:

  • A user-friendly interface for inputting and managing study content
  • AI-powered summarization and explanation system
  • Prompt engineering to ensure responses are simple and student-friendly
  • Quiz generation system to test understanding and improve retention

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was making sure the AI responses were accurate, clear, and easy for students to understand. Another challenge was structuring multiple features (summarization, explanations, and quizzes) into one smooth and simple learning flow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building a unified learning platform that combines summarization, explanation, and practice in one system. Turning complex STEM content into simplified learning materials using AI is a major achievement for us.

What we learned

We learned how to apply AI to real educational problems, how to design better learning experiences, and how prompt engineering can significantly improve output quality. We also improved our skills in building structured, user-focused applications.

What's next for EduBoost AI

Next, we plan to add personalized learning paths, performance tracking, smarter AI tutoring, and collaborative study features. We also aim to make the platform more adaptive to each student’s learning style and progress.
