Inspiration

We noticed that many students spend a lot of time trying to understand long and complex notes, often without clear guidance on what is important. Revision can be stressful and time-consuming, especially when preparing for exams. EduBoost AI was inspired by the need to make studying faster, simpler, and more effective using AI.

What it does

EduBoost AI is an AI-powered learning assistant that helps students:

• Upload long notes and get simplified summaries
• Understand difficult topics through clear explanations
• Generate quizzes for self-assessment and revision
• Collaborate with peers through study groups

It is designed to support students at primary, secondary, and university levels.

How we built it

We built EduBoost AI using modern web technologies. The platform integrates AI models for text summarization, explanation, and quiz generation. The frontend was designed to be simple and user-friendly, allowing students to easily upload and interact with their study materials. We structured the system to handle different learning features such as notes processing, quiz generation, and group interaction.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was ensuring the AI responses were accurate, simple, and easy for students to understand. We also faced challenges in structuring multiple features (summarization, quizzes, and groups) into a clean and smooth user experience without making the platform confusing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of building a system that combines multiple learning tools into one platform. Successfully integrating AI to transform long academic content into simple learning materials is a major achievement. We also created a foundation for collaborative learning through study groups.

What we learned

We learned how to effectively integrate AI into real-world educational use cases. We also gained experience in designing user-focused interfaces and building features that solve real student problems. Most importantly, we learned how to balance functionality and simplicity in a single product.

What's next for EduBoost AI

Next, we plan to improve personalization by adapting content based on each student’s learning level. We also aim to introduce one-to-one tutor booking, advanced performance tracking, and smarter AI-driven study recommendations to make learning even more personalized and effective.
