Inspiration: We wanted to give a wider, more engaging way of learning. We were inspired by how much children enjoy to use AR. This is also very useful now as people in lockdown can experience travel and look at new places!

What it does: The website contain links, QR codes, images & and facts about different buildings over time and why they are built that way. The links and the QR codes lead you to and AR page were you can see the buildings in 3D for yourself and see floating text.

How we built it: We used 3 platforms to build this project: EchoAR, Tinkercad & BSD online. Tinkercad was used to create all the 3D models, EchoAR for the AR platform and get QR codes and links. Finally, BSD online was used to create a website from scratch, by using HTML5 and CSS.

Challenges we ran into: Yesterday, before we did the last final test, echoAR's website crashed and none of the QR codes worked. We waited it out and they came back.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud of all the detail put in our designs. Also we really like the layout of our page and the vibes it gives off.

What we learned: We learned how to become better at Tinkercad and how to quickly create a cloud AR project.

What's next for EduAR: We want to add more topics like geography, science etc. Instead of just historical buildings. We could try to add as much detail as possible and even start working with museums!
