What's next for EduAccess AI V2
EduAccess AI V2 was inspired by a simple but critical problem in education: students are not always struggling because they lack access to information, but because the information is not presented in a way they can understand.
According to UNESCO and World Bank education data, millions of learners globally face a “comprehension gap,” especially students in underserved communities and those with learning differences. Traditional education systems often use a one-size-fits-all approach, which does not support diverse learning needs.
This project applies a Design Thinking approach to solve that problem by asking: How might we make educational content adaptive, simple, and accessible for every learner?
EduAccess AI V2 is an AI-powered learning assistant that transforms complex topics into multiple learning modes:
- Standard AI explanations (deep understanding)
- Simple Mode (beginner-friendly breakdown)
- Accessibility Mode (bullet points and reduced cognitive load)
- Quiz Generator (interactive learning reinforcement)
- Text-to-Speech support (auditory learning accessibility)
It is built using Flask for the backend, Google Gemini API for AI responses, and JavaScript for a responsive frontend interface.
The biggest challenge was designing AI prompts that consistently adapt content for different cognitive levels while maintaining accuracy. Another challenge was integrating accessibility features like speech synthesis in a seamless way.
Through this project, I learned how powerful prompt engineering, user-centered design, and accessibility-first thinking can be when combined in educational technology.
EduAccess AI V2 represents a step toward inclusive education where learning adapts to the learner, not the other way around.
