Inspiration

In the recent COVID situations, when the schools were closed a huge percentage of students were having difficulty in studying and even though if they attended online classes they were not able to understand the topics fully and had doubts which were never answered. Thus as a solution I created a web app which can act as an Education Hub for students where students can learn and practice all from a single web app.

What it does

It is a web app to help students in their exam prep. It has features like a community platform where students can resolve their queries, a section where playlists for specific exams prep and other resources for the same are present and a feature with which students can convert their text books to audio books using OCR technology. They can also search for solution of a question by uploading image of the question.

How I built it

Using html5 & css3 I created the template. Due to time constraints I was unable to start with the back-end.

Challenges I ran into

I didn't know how to embed a YouTube video.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is my best looking web app so far.

What I learned

I learned about embedding YouTube videos and about few other HTML tags.

What's next for Educational Hub

In the future, many more features like integrating a video call feature for online classes or meetings and a section for submission of homework can eventually make it a virtual school.
