Inspiration

As an engineering student, online learning was challenging, for us and our teachers as well. This inspired us to develop an app to overcome this problem.

What it does

It provides a platform for one-to-one interaction, topic-wise quizzes and forums for bridging the student-teacher gap in online learning.

How we built it

We developed it using Flutter, going feature-by-feature, we developed the backend along with frontend for fast development. For storing user data, we are using Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

Developing the quiz was challenging to keep multiple conditions and error handling.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developing this app in 72 hours was what we never thought of, but completing this challenge felt a great accomplishment.

What we learned

We learned fast development process, along with quiz and chat feature with Flutter and Firebase.

What's next for Edmate App

We're thinking of providing this app for our college to make this app better, and maybe start sharing with other institutions.
