Inspiration
Fish eat Fish, a middle school game involving eating smaller fish out of a pond.
What it does
Player avoids an infinite stream of squares, picking off those small enough to eat, hoping to not get eaten themselves by larger cubes.
How we built it
The project was built in Netbeans.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenges we faced were accepting constant and immediate user input in order to control the player's square.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the clean, but sharp look it has after a relatively small development period.
What we learned
We learned a lot about manually creating and manipulating java GUI elements.
What's next for Edible
We plan to add many more artistic elements to the game, as well as much needed sound effects, and other additional features such as large cubes, difficulty options, and a local scoreboard of best players.
