Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That’s a student every 26 seconds – or 7,000 a day. Imagine this at a global scale. quite a big number. This is why Ed-drop came to be we where aware of that problem and try to find a resolution.

How we built it

We used the editor where we mainly used HTML and CSS to create the informative side of the website. Like the home, therapist, podcast, and book pages. Then we moved on to creating features that included JavaScript like the calendar and integration of firebase. For the bot, we used a language called autocaffe to create it (new to most of the members in the team) this help us facilitate the process

Challenges we ran into

During this hackathon, we faced a lot of challenges from teammates not responding and leaving the group to our classic time zones. Some of us had computer difficulties and others forgot about the hackathon. Our more technical problem was integrating firebase to the log-in and sign-in but after all, we did it successfully.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We amused and amazed by the fact we came up with a lot of things on our website from basic information to creating a calendar, integrating firebase, and finally making a chatbot. It was totally a lot of stressful but successful work.

What we learned

The meaning of the phrase Quality over Quantity. We did so much yet we couldn't focus 100% on the quality of each And the we can't depend on each other.
