Inspiration

There was a disconnect between the availability of resources on the side of the donor and the need for resources by local NGOs. We felt the need to bridge the gap between both parties and augment each party's goals. These resources run from equipment to funding and even people to assist with reports and proposal writing.

## What it does The tool is a directory of NGOs and donors. The NGOs can request for listed donations with just a few clicks, and donors can also see what is needed by certain local NGOs and support them accordingly.

How I built it

First, we listed down all the features, flow, and factors. We created a mockup of this. We then split the team to work on the UI and the server creation. We also deployed the framework and built the interfaces, database, and features.

Challenges I ran into

Looking at time constraints, we weren't able to implement all the features we had in mind. For example, we were not able to work on the USSD channel. Also from the hub's perspective, we were trying to figure out how to incentivize people to take up writing up proposals and reports for NGOs for free or for very little.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Our team, and the fact we were about to put all of this together in a matter of hours. We all did it remotely.
