Inspiration

I have seen rallies or events related to environment which needed more attention and volunteers, so we have decided to create a common platform for the organisers and volunteers

What it does

It basically is divided into four features 1)ongoing events It gives us the list of events currently happening and also as a volunteer you can participate in the events as per your interest 2)your participation's You can see the events you participated and the details of the events 3)host an event You can also host an event and ask for volunteers, you can see your created event in ongoing events 4)your events Shows the events you have hosted and also gives the details of the events and also your volunteers list

How we built it,

We implemented the famous MERN stack Mongodb , Express ,Reactjs , Nodejs are used to develop this webapp

Challenges we ran into

we faced errors while adding volunteers list in the your events category Then we updated the schema of event model and added the array of the volunteers

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our webapp connects the volunteers and the organisers on a common platform This webapp has many features like hosting an event,participate in events

What we learned

The workshops were very useful and I learned how to use these tools

What's next for Ecoverse

We want to add many features in our Ecoverse by limiting the number of volunteers for a particular event and also wanted to introduce a rating system for volunteers
