Inspiration

Traffic jams stall your travel to large social events. You don't want to be late for your concert. Traffic congestion emits excessive amounts of air pollution and wastes fuel.

What it does

We solve traffic by encouraging public transport. We reward people at the stations with points and people redeem points for rewards.

How we built it

Users scan QR codes at stations to verify their use of public transport. Users get points for scanning and can redeem points for rewards that can be used at the event venue.

The QR code sends over a time-sensitive verification hash and information on the station. The hash is verified through a mobile app and data is recorded.

The location and redemption data can be used to gain insights for event organisers, which is how we generate revenue.

How it is

We have a working proof of concept mobile app and QR generation system. We have also made a UI/UX prototype. It is very feasible to get this product made!
