Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project was to help reduce global warming by making people aware of what they are dong to the environment. We saw many people around us not aware of current issues and their importance.
What it does
Our project asks users to take a monthly quiz that helps us calculate the carbon footprint of the user. It then tracks the carbon footprint and has a resources page for the user. Additionally, we have a leaderboard with the top 3 users with the least carbon footprint!
How we built it
We made a design on Figma and used Locofy to create Javascript and React-Native script.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled a little bit on the Locofy part but used documentation to figure it out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our app and the tracker especially!
What we learned
We learned new JavaScript code and how to do things on Figma.
What's next for EcoTrack
We plan on adding live maps and challenges!
