Ecotegrity Social Media Based App

Inspiration

It started when I joined the environmental community in 2020 and I was intrigued by how many people care about earth and sustainability. I thought to start creating apps that can solve the plastic issue.

What it does

The app is to solve the plastic issue through story sharing, event, and workshops. I would like to create a safe space for people to talk about global warming without being intimidated by others.

How we built it

I built it using Figma, Google Form (to create the survey).

Challenges we ran into

How do users accept the app? Will they spend time sharing their ideas? Most users that I interviewed never have any interest in global warming. However, they said that they will use it if there are any badges ideas at the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I am able to implement the users' ideas into beautiful app.

What we learned

I learned to manage time finishing the app and at the same time doing the deep research.

What's next for Ecotegrity Social Media Based App

I am not sure what to do next but probably will publish it in the real app in the Apple Store.
