Modern households waste a massive amount of electricity daily due to a lack of automated monitoring and real-time control over appliances. This inspired the creation of EcoSmart Home to make energy management effortless and intelligent.
What it does
EcoSmart Home is an IoT-powered system that uses smart sensors and algorithms to continuously track power usage across household devices. It detects waste patterns in real-time and automatically optimizes energy distribution to lower power bills and protect the environment.
How we built it
The project was structured using smart automation logic and data analysis concepts, integrating virtual IoT simulation scripts to handle real-time synchronization and energy-saving triggers.
Challenges we ran into
Optimizing real-time data flow without causing latency in the sensor feedback loop was a primary hurdle, which was successfully resolved by streamlining the core algorithm.
