Amazon Nova-powered Autonomous Sustainable Logistics Optimization Platform
Inspiration
Global logistics is one of the largest contributors to operational costs and carbon emissions. Enterprises face constant trade-offs between cost efficiency, delivery speed, sustainability, and operational risk. Traditional logistics systems rely heavily on static rules and human decision-making, which limits scalability and responsiveness.
With the introduction of Amazon Nova foundation models and agentic AI capabilities, I saw an opportunity to build an intelligent autonomous logistics platform that can reason, optimize, simulate, and provide executive-level strategic recommendations in real time.
EcoSmart Agentic Logistics AI was created to demonstrate how Amazon Nova can power enterprise-grade autonomous decision-making systems that optimize logistics while reducing environmental impact.
What it does
EcoSmart is a multi-agent autonomous logistics optimization platform powered by Amazon Nova via AWS Bedrock.
It intelligently:
• Optimizes logistics routes based on cost, carbon emissions, sustainability, and operational risk
• Uses agentic AI architecture to simulate multiple logistics scenarios
• Provides executive-level strategic advisory using Amazon Nova reasoning
• Calculates sustainability scores and environmental impact reduction
• Enables autonomous or semi-autonomous enterprise execution decisions
• Visualizes logistics operations in a real-time executive dashboard
