Inspiration

The inspiration came from me watching the news about climate protesters, and i thought most people do not know how some of their actions now might make the future inhabitable in the near future so I decided to create something which helps people in that by them tracking their footprints one at a time.

What it does

It help users track their carbon emissions by taking a survey and it shows them resources on how to improve it.

How we built it.

It runs on the Python Django framework Django and has got a tailwindcss frontend.

Challenges we ran into

It was definitely integrating django with a node run framework but i found a new alternative to that so it went smoothly at the end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is my first time learning and uses both the technologies so i'm proud i brought something out into fruition.

What we learned

I learnt how to use Djago and Tailwind.

What's next for EcoShift

Many Many more so just wait and see what i will do with the project in the future
