EcoPulse is a real-time City Intelligence platform that transforms raw open-source meteorological and traffic data into street-by-street heatmaps and air quality forecasts.
Unlike generic weather apps, EcoPulse uses a lightweight AI model (XGBoost) to predict micro-climate shifts (heatwaves, smog pockets) 6 hours in advance, with a granularity of just 50 meters.
It features a dual-interface:
Citizen Mobile Web App: Recommends "Cool Commute" routes that avoid high-pollution/heat zones and gamifies sustainable actions (e.g., "Delay your AC startup by 1 hour to save 2kg CO₂").
City Planner Dashboard: Flags "Vulnerability Hotspots" where elderly populations overlap with extreme heat, enabling proactive opening of cooling centers.
Why it matters: Urban heat kills 12,000+ people annually in major cities, yet most climate data is too broad to act upon. EcoPulse democratizes data, turning passive citizens into active resilience partners.
