Inspiration
EcoPioneers was inspired by the impact of temperature changes on animal distribution and observation frequency. As climate change becomes more pressing, we aim to use data analysis to understand the connection between temperature and animal appearance patterns, providing a basis for species conservation.
What it does
The project analyzes the relationship between temperature variations and animal observation frequency. By gaining insights from these data, it helps predict the potential impact of climate change on local species and supports conservation efforts.
How we built it
We collected temperature data over different periods and animal observation frequency data. Through statistical analysis of this data, we revealed correlations between temperature changes and animal observation frequency.
Challenges we ran into
During data collection, we faced challenges such as the limited time span of temperature data and incomplete animal observation records, which made data processing more difficult.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully identified trends between temperature changes and animal observation frequency, providing valuable insights for further research on the impact of climate change on species distribution.
What we learned
We learned how to analyze the specific impacts of climate change on species by using temperature and animal observation data, while also realizing the importance of data quality for the reliability of research results.
What's next for EcoPioneers
Next, we plan to expand the research scope, incorporating more species and temperature variation data from different regions to further validate and refine our findings. We also hope to collaborate with conservation organizations to apply these data in practical species protection and management strategies.
