Inspiration

Coming from Cameroon, I grew up with the "peace tree" tradition. A sacred plant given for blessings during important life events. When I moved to Canada, I brought a cutting to grow my own peace tree, but nearly lost it due to poor care in the harsh Canadian climate. So no ones else loses their meaningful plants to preventable mistakes

What it does

EcoPilot is an AI-powered plant care assistant that uses identification and Canadian specific care advice, and weather integration for seasonal adjustments. It transforms good intentions into successful plant parenting

How we built it

React with responsive design and real time geolocalisation Tavily API for plant identification and care enrichment Weather APIs hardiness zone data for climate specific advice Location based notifications and emergency contact messaging Vercel for seamless mobile experience
