Inspiration: Growing up in my community, I witnessed firsthand the increasing environmental challenges we faced. From polluted waterways to excessive waste, it became clear that we needed practical solutions to address these issues. The lack of accessible information and actionable steps for individuals to contribute to sustainability efforts further highlighted the need for innovation.

Identifying the Problem: One day, while discussing these concerns with neighbors and friends, it became evident that many shared my frustration with the lack of tools to make informed and impactful environmental choices. We wanted to do more but often didn't know where to start or how our individual actions could make a difference on a larger scale.

Eureka Moment: The idea for EcoPal emerged during a community cleanup event where we were brainstorming ways to encourage more sustainable living. It struck me that technology could be the bridge between awareness and action. What if there was an app that could provide personalized guidance, track our environmental footprint, and connect us with local initiatives?

Developing EcoPal: With the support of passionate community members and input from local environmental experts, I embarked on developing EcoPal. The journey involved researching sustainable practices, understanding user needs through surveys and interviews, and collaborating with more designetd to build a prototype that would simplify complex environmental data into actionable insights.

Overcoming Challenges: Conducting more research and working on the mobile app design and user experience is no joke, while still facing some user flows and usability issues, I believe we're on the right path. I am the product designer for this project so a lot of load is on me, trying to think from both the developers perspective and the users' also
