The team
The project was developed by Juan Carlos Garza, Pablo Moreno and Mariano Alipi. Table #33.
What it does
Even though the game couldn't be completed, the build shows the "main" view of the game, in which the player can walk up to a company to invest in it.
How we built it
We used Unity for programming and piskelapp.com for designing the sprites.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into several problems with the newest version of Unity because some changes affect how some things must be programmed.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to design a bunch of sprites and a very simple engine for the main view of the game in a very short time.
What we learned
We learned a lot about how Unity handles player movement and the player's interaction with other objects.
What's next for Economic Jam
We'll try to keep developing Economic Jam as a personal project to keep learning and discovering.
