The inspiration for building SmartSpend came from a simple realization that when planning to purchase something significant, it’s often hard to map out the perfect financial path. I wanted to create a tool that could help users analyze their situation clearly, plan ahead, and build confidence in their decisions. SmartSpend is a web-based smart financial planning platform designed to provide individuals with a clear and holistic view of their financial status. The system incorporates microeconomic principles to guide users in managing their income, expenses, savings, and investments efficiently. This project was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. While implementing the project, handling complex logic and conditional structures presented a certain level of challenge. I strongly believe that if someone wants to increase their assets, micro-managing their money is essential. This belief drove me to design SmartSpend. While making this, we get to know about Finance and Microeconomics, how we can micro-manage our money to achieve bigger goals. We are considering enhancements to the platform, such as integrating advanced AI-based recommendations and introducing stock analysis features through a subscription model.
