Inspiration
The world’s climate is suffering tremendously due to carbon dioxide trapped in the atmosphere from ICE vehicles. It causes unpredictable weather patterns and severe natural calamities. Additionally emissions from ICE vehicles also lead to many adverse health issues such as carcinogenic chemicals from car exhaust - which greatly increases the risk of certain cancers - and irritants that cause more damage to lungs and airways to pre-existing diseases. So, we looked for other pathways to reduce carbon emissions by way of public transportation, proper car maintenance, and reduced car use. Which led us to our investigative question... what type of factors affect the ownership rates of electric vehicles? How can we use those factors to predict future trends?
