Our inspiration for EcoHarmony stems from the urgent need to combat climate change and promote sustainable living. We envisioned a comprehensive solution that leverages technology to address diverse environmental challenges.
What it does
EcoHarmony integrates cutting-edge applications and software to optimize renewable energy sources, making clean energy accessible and efficient. It goes further by promoting waste reduction, recycling, and proper disposal methods to foster a circular economy. The app also provides tools for monitoring climate changes, predicting environmental shifts, and assisting communities in adapting to the impacts of climate change. Additionally, EcoHarmony encourages eco-friendly transportation solutions and supports biodiversity monitoring, protection of endangered species, and preservation of natural habitats.
How we built it
As Flutter developers, we utilized the versatility of the framework to create a cross-platform application. The intuitive user interface allows users to seamlessly navigate through various features, making a positive impact on the environment as easy as a few taps.
Challenges we ran into
Developing a solution that encompasses such diverse themes posed its challenges. Integrating real-time climate monitoring data and ensuring compatibility with various IoT devices required innovative problem-solving.
