EcoGaurds

We were inspired by some of the many issues faced by our world. We found one big issue was about the environment.

Our app prototype is all about helping the environment. Using this, you can get solutions to simple littering, where you input the type of littering, put an optional description and then once you submit, you get a solution on what to do. Not only that, you can also join cleanup drives or recycling centres in your area.

We made a code for an HTML type and we made it first on W3SCHOOLS and then OneCompiler.

While doing this, we faced many challenges, like agreeing on an idea, then what we wanted it to look like, but the hardest challenge was making the code. At times the code didn’t work, or it just didn’t look like it was meant to. One thing we are proud of as a group is finishing our prototype and it looking the way we want it to.

During this, we learnt a lot about coding and how to make things using code. It was a great learning experience and we did get to know a lot of new things.

The next step for EcoGuards would be an actual app which could actually be used in the future.
